Industrial REMADE
– A social enterprise building open, design-led infrastructure for industrial upcycling in fashion
MODULAR HARDWARE | RECONNECTED SOFTWARE | PILOT PROJECTS (UPCOMING) | SCALABLE PARTNERSHIPS
What We’re Building
Co-Lab bridges the gap between reselling unused fashion and textile stock and fibre-to-fibre recycling systems – with scalable, industrial remade that preserves garment and fabric integrity and keeps high-quality materials in use as long as possible:
REMADE hardware modules – modular units for industrial upcycling without fibre destruction
Design filter – ensures every remade product is emotionally durable, culturally relevant, and built to last
Technology & Process Model
With RECONNECTED we are developing a digital tool for modular, scalable fashion and textile upcycling workflows. It records material inventories, standardises processes, and connects partners in real time – from design to production to delivery.
In parallel, we are creating a complete process model for industrial remanufacturing in fashion that links design decisions, technological solutions, and production logistics in a scalable structure. This is an open foundation, designed to connect with other technologies in the field. The aim: collaboratively growing standards – so high-quality, industrial fashion remade becomes faster, more economical, and globally implementable.
Vision
Co-Lab is a social enterprise in the early stages of a long-term journey.
We are developing open, design-led infrastructure to help Europe’s textile and fashion industry move from a throwaway model to high-quality, circular value creation – with nature guiding every decision. This commitment is at the heart of our approach, and it’s why we say: Nature First.
Why “Nature First”?
When we put nature first, our perspective and the origin of our actions change. In fashion, this means decisions align with a future that sustains life – for people, for the planet, and for the cultures that shape our industry.
Putting nature at the centre moves us beyond simply reducing harm. It asks us to design systems and products that give back – regenerating the materials, skills, and cultural value that our work depends on.
We listen – to nature, to materials, to people in the system.
We design from the future – aiming for meaningful leaps, not small fixes.
We learn together – progress is shaped in the Co-Lab, not in isolation.
We connect technology with values – efficiency guided by a regenerative compass.
We make room for transformation – workshops that enable perspective shifts and shared alignment.
How We Work
We connect industry and craft, designers and engineers, policy and communities.
We honour detail and overview and move at a pace that respects quality and connection.
We weave materials, ideas, and people into a fabric that lasts, belongs to many, and speaks of care.
Join Us In Building Co-Lab
I’m Henrietta, founder of Co-Lab.
We started small – just a few of us, with a shared belief that the fashion and textile industry is missing a vital link: a practical, open way to scale high-quality industrial remade.
Recycling is becoming automated. Upcycling remains manual, fragmented, and costly – with no shared infrastructure to connect ideas to impact.
We’re building Co-Lab to change that: creating the tools, processes, and community that can keep garments and fabrics in use, in value, and in culture for as long as possible.
Co-Lab is built on collaboration.
Real change happens when different skills, perspectives, and resources come together. Whether you are a designer, manufacturer, policymaker, educator, or simply someone who believes in a fashion system that gives back more than it takes – your place is here.
If this vision resonates with you, bring your ideas, your expertise, your commitment.
The more of us who join, the stronger and faster this shift will happen.
Let’s make it real.
